Beccles Public Hall and Theatre announces its first even Wellbeing Evening

Beccles Public Hall and Theatre is proud to announce the first Wellbeing Evening hosted at the Hall on Thursday 20th April 2023, 6pm – 9pm. The Hall, on Smallgate, Beccles will play host to a number of small, local businesses - all with wellbeing in mind. There will be opportunity for customers on the evening to enjoy a mini pamper, shopping and chance to buy a drink from the Hall Bar.

The evening is designed to showcase what is in the local area to help with Wellbeing. Including fitness, aromatherapy, houseplants, massage and so much more. The stalls will offer a range of products from independent local businesses. Some stalls will have items to purchase on the evening and others offer mini treatments or spiritual sessions.

The Hall will be open from 6pm, to 9pm with tickets at just £2.50. Tickets allow entry to the evening any time between 6pm and 9pm. Tickets holders are able to turn up at a time that suites them. The Hall is dog friendly, and visitors are welcome to bring well behaved four legged companions with them on a lead.

Tickets for the evening will include entry into the raffle for a chance to win a Pamper Hamper made up of prizes from the amazing line-up of stall holders. Additional raffle tickets are available on the evening with all funds going to the Hall which is a registered charity.

The Hall Bar will be open on the evening with casual seating available in the foyer for tickets holders to be able to sit and catch up with friends and family whilst at the Hall.

Stall holders have been applying since the evening was announced in February with an overwhelming number of applications for stalls being received so far. There is now a wait list in operation for stall holders, and the Hall are keen for people to keep applying as they would love to build a database of small local businesses who are interested in having stalls at such events. The Hall will be announcing further dates soon for more Wellbeing Evenings as well as Shop Small at the Hall – which will focus on small independent businesses.

A selection of stall holders that have been confirmed so far include:

Bergamot and Flow

Bergamot and Flow evolved from a love of complimentary therapies – owner, Sam experimented with essential oils simply for their nice smells initially, before I realised the impact they had on my mood and my senses. If I got positive benefits from them surely others would too?

Sam wanted to make self care accessible and affordable for everybody - that’s why I make small sized pulse point oils so people can try them and make sure they have the right blend for their needs. The pandemic and then the lockdowns really started a shift in people prioritising themselves and making self care a real goal for lots of us.
